Frequently Asked Questions
1.
What is the cost of the Laser Sessions for Smoking Cessation?
The cost of the procedure is $395.00 which includes the initial
treatment and quarterly follow up treatments and behavior modification
training.
2. How many laser sessions are required?
Many of our clients need only one treatment to quit smoking. However,
if the second treatment is required, it is included in the package.
3. How long does the laser session take?
The laser session itself takes about a half hour, but please allow
one hour for your first appointment to review information about
laser therapy.
4. Does insurance cover this procedure?
Insurance does not cover the procedure at this time.
5. Does it hurt?
No! Low level laser therapy is completely painless.
In fact, most people describe an extremely relaxed feeling after
being treated.
6. Where do you place the laser?
The laser is placed on various points on the body around the ears,
nose, hands and wrists.
7.
If I have a medical condition, can I still receive low level laser
therapy?
If you are pregnant or have been diagnosed for cancer in the last
five (5) years, we regret that you will not be able to participate
at this time. Most other patients may be treated. If you have any
other questions or concerns, please contact your doctor before visiting
us.
8. Will I gain weight?
Most clients report no weight gain. Many actually lose weight because
the laser therapy protocol causes natural appetite suppression.
9. Will it work if I have been smoking over
40 years?
Absolutely! It doesn’t matter how long you’ve smoked or how many
packs a day you smoked. Most of our clients have smoked several
packs a day for many years and successfully quit with our therapy.
10. Is laser therapy safe?
Yes! There are no harmful side effects and no drugs, chemicals,
or nicotine being put into your body like other methods. Laser therapy
is painless and non-invasive.
11. Are all lasers the same?
No, many of our competitors use inferior lasers having only 1/7
the clinical power of Laser Solutions computer controlled equipment.
These lasers are state of the art medical lasers, providing the
proper clinical power output, to give you the optimum therapeutic
results. Laser therapy is an exact science with precisely calculated
dosages. If you get too small of a dosage, it is exactly the same
as taking 1/10 of an aspirin for a migraine headache. It simply
won’t work. You can rest assured you will always get the proper
dosage at Smoke Free Laser Clinics.
